Human’s Rights
who we are
An organization willing to build a world where children and parents are protected from their basic needs. A world that provides resources and opportunities for a peaceful and fulfilling life.
We offer services in the areas of , education, housing, and nutrition.
Bonjour La Vie provides help and support to anyone in those fields, such as nutrition, education and housing. We emphasizes that financial, economic and educational problems are a daily reality for people from all walks of life.
Bonjour La Vie’s slogan, “For a better world”, perfectly encapsulates this overarching goal, and much of its writing is designed to show warmth and compassion, while not being afraid to take action on difficult issues.
Bonjour La Vie helps to provide food to those in need, to assist those who have no shelter and to those who have no access to education.
Our Approach
Realizing that poverty is a global issue, the founders of Bonjour La Vie were deeply afflicted by the discovery of a large population of displaced and homeless individuals living in Fort Pierce, Florida. They became motivated to create a means to help provide impoverished people with necessities such as food and shelter, and to create a dynamic where the ideals of Love and Charity serve as guiding principles for a better world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help families live in a climate of food, shelter, security, and accessible education for the youth.
Our Vision
We envision a world that guarantees access to the resources and opportunities they need to have a better life and a bright future.
Our story
Bonjour La Vie is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Ms. Olna Vilson and Mr. Berthony Louis after paying a visit to Haiti following the devastating earthquake that struck the Caribbean nation on the evening of January 12th. The organization formerly known as “A Vision for a New World” was incorporated in the State of Florida to aid children and families in need within vulnerable communities in Haiti.
The founders began the work with personal funds after unsuccessfully putting out a call to action to community members to help those suffering from the effects of the catastrophic natural disaster. Due to a lack of suitable partnership and support, the founders were forced to put a halt on the project when they ran out of funds, vowing to continue at a later time.
After several visits to Haitian communities living in extreme poverty in different locations around the Dominican Republic, the founders were inspired to continue their mission under the new banner of “Bonjour la vie,” which means “good morning life” or “hello world”. We invite everyone to join us in helping underprivileged people achieve a better life.
