who we are

An organization willing to build a world where children and parents are protected from their basic needs. A world that provides resources and opportunities for a peaceful and fulfilling life.

We offer services in the areas of , education, housing, and nutrition.

Bonjour La Vie provides help and support to anyone in those fields, such as nutrition, education and housing. We emphasizes that financial, economic and educational problems are a daily reality for people from all walks of life.

Bonjour La Vie’s slogan, “For a better world”, perfectly encapsulates this overarching goal, and much of its writing is designed to show warmth and compassion, while not being afraid to take action on difficult issues.

Bonjour La Vie helps to provide food to those in need, to assist those who have no shelter and to those who have no access to education.

Our Approach

Realizing that poverty is a global issue, the founders of Bonjour La Vie were deeply afflicted by the discovery of a large population of displaced and homeless individuals living in Fort Pierce, Florida. They became motivated to create a means to help provide impoverished people with necessities such as food and shelter, and to create a dynamic where the ideals of Love and Charity serve as guiding principles for a better world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help families live in a climate of food, shelter, security, and accessible education for the youth.

Our Vision

We envision a world that guarantees access to the resources and opportunities they need to have a better life and a bright future.

Our story

Bonjour La Vie, founded in 2010 by Ms. Olna Vilson and Mr. Berthony Louis, is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on aiding vulnerable communities in the whole world. They came across of a disastrous situation in St Lucie county area specially in Avenue D. Fort Pierce where homeless is a serious issue for the environment which requires a rapid course of action and urgency designed to address a pressing crisis.

The organization was originally established after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and later expanded its mission to support the homeless community in St. Lucie County, Florida, by providing bi-monthly food aid on weekends on Avenue D in Fort Pierce.

Inspired by their visits to impoverished Haitian living in Dominican Republic the founders transitioned from their original project—”A Vision for a New World”—due to funding constraints, to adopting the name “Bonjour La Vie,” emphasizing a message of hope and resilience. The organization invites community members to join their efforts in improving the lives of underprivileged populations, embodying a global spirit of compassion and solidarity.
